From the moment our driver Yusuf picked us up with chilled rose lemonade, we knew we were in good hands. The pyramid glowed amber against the Cappadocia cliffs, and as I said "yes," giant silent fireworks painted the sky without ruining the serenity. My only note: I wish the guitarist had stayed one extra song—everything else was flawless.

The Cappadocia Sunset Jeep Safari is a ≈ 2-hour / 25 km off-road adventure covering Red, Rose & Love Valleys and the Ortahisar panorama. Departing around 4 pm, open-top vehicles climb dusty tracks to Red Valley lookouts where you'll catch balloon landings framed by golden-hour light. A short stop in Love Valley includes a complimentary champagne (or local wine) toast.
